The Wedding Singer!!!

More recently, I have been asked to perform at many weddings..and...unfortunately some funerals. I feel that when you are asked to sing at someone's wedding, it is the most pressure you will go through. It is quite an honor to be involved in a day that special to those invlolved. I have performed at both of my sister's weddings, and many friends (Lee & Vanessa, Ray & Kerry, Ben & Celia, to name a few). My mother requested that I sing at her funeral and that, to date, was the most difficult! My Aunt and two cousins requested that I sing amazing grace at my Uncle Gil's funeral and that one was tough as well. Let's hope for less of those and for more happy occasions!

In the Studio!

Doing some time in the recording studio! Mind Rage Studios in Phoenix, assisted me in recording many songs over the years. They were "instrumental" in helping me record the National Anthem as well as many other things in preparation for some of the auditions I have had.

Cardinals Victory over the Eagles!!!

NO! Not the game that put the redbirds in the Super Bowl!!! Way back in the late 90's (when the cards never won) I had the opportunity to sing our National Anthem before the game. The tryout process was brutal to say the least! I had to record myself singing the anthem acapella (no music for those of you that are new to the jargon). I then mailed that to the Cardinals organization. They responded by asking me to re-record the anthem in more traditional manner. After doing that, I was informed that there were approximately 1100 people who submitted tapes. From that group, they selected 300 people to do live auditions. Of those 300, only six would be selected for that season. I landed one of those spots!!! It was quite a thrill and something I will remember for the rest of my life! It was nice being treated like a "bigshot" even if it was only for a few hours.

Country Thunder!

Back in the day, I performed at the Country Thunder music festival in 98' and 99'! It was such a great time! I enjoyed being in front of the crowd!
